The General Assembly of the Association "EuroGeographics" in Belfast (Northern Ireland).

17 -20 September 2011, the Moldovan delegation, headed by Director General of the Agency Land  Relations and Cadastre, Anatoly Gilash took part in the General Assembly of the Association "EuroGeographics", held in Belfast (Northern Ireland). Association "EuroGeographics", established in 2001, is a union of 49 state cadastre and cartography services in Europe
The main objectives of the Association's activities include the creation and development of the European spatial data infrastructure, implementation of multilateral projects in the areas of competence of members of the Association, as well as lobbying for their interests in the European political structures.
The General Assembly of the Association is held every year to take stock of activities to inform members about the progress of implementation of projects and discuss organizational matters.
At an assembly, among other things, address issues related to the reorganization of the Association in the international non-profit association, including the adoption of the members of the organizations that do not belong to the founders of the new association.
In addition to participating in the activities of the Assembly, Anatoly Gilash held a number of meetings with leaders and representatives of the cartographic and cadastral services Poland, Romania, Norway and Armenia.
Also held talks with the leadership of the Association for participation in international ALRC projects implemented by the Association and use of products and services provided by the Association.
Separately to discuss cooperation of the Association and the Interstate Council of Geodesy, Cartography, Cadastre and Remote Sensing of the land - the CIS.
